Layne Holt
is
the chief architect and inventor of the EtherLinx technology. Layne
is an established entrepreneur with extensive experience in the computer
hardware, software, and networking technologies.
Prior to founding EtherLinx Communications he served as the
President of Data System Services, where he developed, designed and
manufactured the proprietary wireless products used by EtherLinx today.
Mr. Holt's 20 plus years in the technology sector including
founding other successful startups including Tune Rite
Inc.,
Online Management Information Systems (O.M.I.S.), Point of Sale Systems (P.O.S.)
Plus Inc.,
Ultimate Online Business Information Systems, and Data Systems Services.
In addition Layne has held key management positions at industry leading
firms such as Lockheed,
Ball Corporation, Franklin Electric, Trio Tech Intl., among others.

Mario Rosati has been with the Palo Alto, California law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since 1971, first as an associate and as a
member since January 1975. Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini Goodrich
& Rosati, Mr. Rosati attended Boalt Hall, University of California,
Berkeley and received his degree in 1971. While attending Boalt, Mr.
Rosati received the Am Jur Award in Corporations.
Mr. Rosati did his undergraduate work at the
University of California at Los Angeles, where he received a Bachelor in
Arts with a major in History in 1968.
Mr. Rosati specializes in Corporate Law,
especially as it relates to high-technology companies.
In 1981 Mario Rosati participated in the
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Task Force to the office of the President
Elect, Ronald Reagan and in 1982-83 served as a Special Consultant to the
Secretary, Drew Lewis, and Deputy Secretary of Transportation, Darrel
Trent, and in this connection was a member of the Airport Access Task
Force.
Mr. Rosati is a member of the firm's
Executive Management Committee. He is also the Managing Partner of WS
Investments, an investment partnership, composed of the Members of the
firm and a trust for certain associates of the firm. WS Investments has
invested in a number of emerging corporations over the years.
Mr. Rosati has sat as Judge Pro-Tem in the
Superior Court, State of California, San Mateo County. Mr. Rosati
serves on the Panel of Arbitrators for San Mateo County. Mr. Rosati
is an adjunct Professor, Haas School of Business, University of California
at Berkeley and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Lester Center for
Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Mr. Rosati is on the UC Berkeley Foundation
Board of Trustees.
William J. Murphy has over 30 years of progressively increased
responsibilities in technology and business.
Starting with General Electric Company in 1967 and then moving onto
Hewlett-Packard in 1969, Mr. Murphy progressed up the ranks in various
engineering, marketing and senior management positions.
In 1996, Mr. Murphy was named Director of Internet Marketing for HP
with worldwide marketing responsibility for all of HP Internet activities.
Mr. Murphy is currently Chairman and CEO of Clos LaChance Wines, Inc., a
rapidly growing premium winery. Mr.
Murphy holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Tufts
University and a masters degree in business administration from San
Diego State University.
Scott Perry
comes from AT&T where he served as the Vice President of overall
Strategy and Business Development for AT&T. Scott currently consults
with companies to create and implement strategies resulting in
constructive growth. Over the past decade, Mr. Perry was devoted his time
to technological assignments with AT & T holding positions of Vice
President of Strategy and Business Development, Vice President, Strategy
& Alliances for AT&T Solutions, Vice President Advanced Platform
Services, Vice President Business Multimedia Services, Vice President,
Business Communications Services, and Vice President Marketing, Strategy
and Technical Support for the Data Systems Group. Prior to AT&T, Mr.
Perry was an executive with IBM. He serves on the board of ITAA
(Information Technology Association of America) and is a member of Cornell
University Engineering College Advisory Council. He also serves on the
board of Planet Zanett and INEA, a private financial planning software
company based in Toronto.
Technical
Tom
Tsoulogiannis has been on the IEEE 802.11
Committee since its founding and an active participant. Tom brings to
EtherLinx an in-depth knowledge of 802.11 technologies
where his expertise in the 802.11 standard, in driver and AP software, and
in hardware design can be used to achieve a very quick time to market.
Tom is the
Founder and Vice President of Engineering at Neesus Datacom Inc. a leading
developer of 802.11 firmware and software.
